Milk yield of the Polish Merino ewes during 14 weeks of lactation

Milk performance of 79 Polish Merino ewes was determined. The higher yield of milk, fat, protein and lactose of milk in ewes with twins than those with singles was stated. A highly significant negative correlation between the milk performance and the fat and protein content in milk was observed. Tha lactation peak in the all ewes at 4th week of lactation was found
