The fungicides were applied in two concentrations, i.e. 0.1 and 0.5 percent for Benomyl, or 0.2 and 1.0 for Captan. The plants were sprayed in four phases of vegetation. The analyses were made on the second three-lobed leaf, taken after 48 or 96 hours after treating the plants with fungicide. The effect of the applied fungicides on the content of determined nutrients was differentiated and depended on the kind of fungicide as well as on the phase of plant development. Basing on the performed analyses in seeds harvested from plants treated with fungicides and from controls a general regularity consisting in an increase of starch content and decrease of level of total protein after fungicide treatment was ascertained. There also occurred differences in the proportion of separate fractions of protein in the bean seeds
