Seeds obtained from fruit harvested 10 days prior to commercial maturity germinated better than those from ripe fruit. Seed soaking in etephon solution improved their germination. The highest percentage of seedlings was obtained from seeds which have sprouted at sowing time in spring. Seeds obtained from cross pollination produced a better quality sedlings than those from self pollination. Foliar spray with GA3 improved height and root crown diameter of seedlings
