Recovered embryos from the 3 groups which were judged to be at the certain stages as standard were 18(58 %), 10(100 %) and 16(72 %) embryos. Degenerated embryos were 3(10), 0 and 3(14 %). Unfertilized ova were 10(32 %), 0 and 3(14 %) respectively. The evaluation of embryonic quality indicated that the number (%) of good embryos were 17(81 %), 7(%) and 11(58%), fair embryos were 1(5 %), 3(30 %), and 4(21 %) and poor embryos were 3(41 %), 0 and 4(21 %) respectively. In experiment 1, no embryo was collected from heifer and 4-calved cow, while 2 and 3-calved cows gave the average of 5.4 and 7.2 embryos per cow respectively. In experiment 2, non-surgical transferrings were in attempt. Twelve, eight and five embryos from the 3 groups of experiment 1 at the quality of good ang fair were transfered non-surgically using the Cassou AI gun to the recipients. The numbers of recipients for receiving those 3 groups of embryos were 10,8 and 5 animals. The results indicated that one recipient receiving a 5 days old, good quality, compact morula embryo was examined pregnant.
