Designing capacity of irrigation system by using the maximum values of evaporation which are obtained from frequency analysis methods, not only give the appropriate size of the system according to the types of soils and crops, but can also be used to evaluate precisely the drought period which will occur. Moreover, if the value of maximum evaporation during different desired periods are used to calculate the water duty values of the project. This water duty values can be used during the dry season to estimate the size of irrigated area which will be suitable to water resources of the project.
