Analysis of variance and heritability of yield in tobacco hybrids [Nicotiana tabacum L.]

Analyses of the components of phenotypic variability and the heritability of the yields of tobacco hibrids were made. The genetic variability was different, it was greater than the ecological variability. In the total genetic variability, the additive gene action was predominant. The heritability (h2) in a broader sense was higher.
