Rajcevic, M. (Merkator KIT, Ljubljana (Yugoslavia)) | Dolenc, A.
No unfavourable effects of tapioca on feed consumption and eating were found out due to ustinees of tapioca. In the group with tapioca the production diminished, for the cows were 214 days after calving at the end of the trial but we could notice for 8 better milk persistence regarding the lactation curve for this phase of lactation. In the control group in which cows were 191 days after calving at the end of the trial the milk production was equal all the time of the trial. The group with tapioca had for 0.14 % higher content of milk fat than control group, and 0.38 % at the end of the trial. The protein concentration was nearly equal in both groups at the beginning of the trial - 3,51 % in group with tapioca and 3.52 % in the control group, but at the end of the trial it was 3.34 % in the group with tapioca and 3.40 % in the control group, i.e. for 0.06 % better in the group with tapioca. Differences in milk production, milk fat and protein concentration in milk are not statistically significant.
