Changes of land areas and yield of corn production on social farms in Vojvodina [Yugoslavia]

The areas with maize and maize yield show an increasing tendency on social farms in Vojvodina (Yugoslavia). In the examined period the mean annual increase of the areas with maize and of maize yield was b=1.0262 and b=1.0211 respectively. The production growth results from those increases. The increase of areas with maize on social farms is fast, as opposed to that of maize yield. The increase of yield is faster on private farms. According to the production it would be possible to export maize although the export has been below the country's natural and economic potentials.
