[Correlation between complete and partial control of egg production and egg physical characteristics in the pureline meaty type of layers]

The following properties of the line of heavy layer hens were analysed: number of eggs, their shape index, egg weight, egg shell deformities and egg shell colour. Possibilities of applying a method of shortened control as a measure of a total value of individual properties were analysed on the basis of calculating the correlation coefficient between certain periods of individual control and total egg production.
