[Effect of herbicide application time on weeds and seed maize crop]

The paper describes the results of the investigation into the efficiency of 7 herbicide combinations applied at different times to seed maize crop. The investigated times of herbicide application were in the following periods: pre-planting, post-planting as well as during the maize vegetation period. The greatest efficiency, with regard to the reduced number of weeds and their plants, was found to be with post--planting treatments. The most intensive plant growth of maize inbreds was also noticed in the same variants.
