This is a study of the degree and extent of contamination of various products of plant and animal origin with pesticide residues and heavy metals. The results indicate a general contamination of the studied products with residues of one or more contaminators. The quantity of residues varies depending on the type of product. The degree of contamination is higher in products of animal origin, while most frequently, only traces of the contaminators are found in products of plant origin.
