Krstic, B. | Bajcetic, B. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Beograd (Yugoslavia))
Farms in mountainous regions have been studied on 40 models, classified into groups according to the following characteristics: Intensity of fodder production, intensity of sheep production, type of meal and size of flocks. For each model zootechnical and productive indicators have been established, the gain of heads while they were in a definite category have been determined, the physical level of the final mutton, milk and wood production have been calculated as weil as the needs in fodder established. When the needs for fodder requir a larger area than 20 ha, the farm is enabled to rent arable land. The calculation of total costs has been carried out as well as of the final production, the income and the accumulation for each model, and thus given the basis to choose the most favourable solution for the corresponding conditions.
