Fruit anthocyanin pigments of sour cherry seedlings

Qualitative analysis of anthocyanin pigments was performed in the fruits of 3 sour cherry cultivars and 67 seedlings from 3 sour cherry families, by means of a thin-layer one dimensional ascending chromatography. It was found out that the examined cultivars and seedlings contained mainly 3 anthocyanins, with the exception of Heimanns Konservenweichsel which contained 4 anthocyanins.
