Composition and nutritive value of forages analysed in 1987 [Slovenia (Yugoslavia)]

39 samples of fresh grass, 35 of hay, 14 of aftermath, 69 of grass silage and 49 of maize silage were analysed. Average dry matter content (g/kg) in the named groups of forages was 164, 848, 844, 394 and 288 repectively. The content of digestible crude protein and SE res. NEL were in the grass 217 g, 631 SE, 6,4 MJ, in the hay 70, 353, 4,5 in the aftermath 99, 377, 4,6 in the grass silage 100, 433, 4,9 and in the maize silage 43, 611, 6,4.
