Some socio-economic and production issues of individual households of Kula [Yugoslavia]

The research has shown the following: Out of the total number of surveyed agricultural households in Kula (Yugoslavia), 65.5% are mixed, 14.4% agricultural and 20.1% aged. If we do not include the mixed households, we can see that only 40% of the agricultural households have active members. In a great number of the aged households, the aged members of these households are the only ones who do the agricultural work at the farms. 98% of the aged households have one or two members. Agricultural and mixed households have two, three or four members. The average size of the farm land of mixed households is 2.3 ha, of agricultural 5.8 ha, and 4.3 ha of the aged. The differentiation between individual categories of households also includes achieved results in plant and live stock production.
