The following has been established on the basis of a research: According to its properties and content of basic macro- and microelements, bull and hog manure can have an excellent fertilization value, if it is applied in the right quantities; By using 2 X 100t of liquid manure for two years, a greater content of basic cation and humus was achieved, while the substitutional and hydrolytical acidity of the soil was reduced in comparison with fertilization using mineral fertilizers; The content of exchangeable cations (N, K, Ca, Mg) increases with fertilization; Liquid manure had a similar effect on the yield and nutritient uptake by silaged maize, as well as mineral fertilizer.
