Vegetative potential of carnation mother plants derived from apical meristem

Avirous carnation cuttings (Dianthus caryophyllus) were cultivated by shoot tip cultura. Initial materials were taken from selected producing commercial plants tested on positive characteristics of each cultivar. By specific procedure in laboratory under aseptic condition isolated shoot tips are inserted into nutrition medium by Murashige and Skoog. Under controlled conditions both light lenght, intensity and temperature regime during four weeks daveloped the nucleus in vitro or transplanted in vivo.
