During three-year investigation (1986-1988) at the experimental field of the Institute of field and Vegetable Crops of the Faculty of Agriculture inNovi Sad (Yugoslavia), on chernozem soil was investigated influence of different quality of nitrogen (0-200 kg/ha) on the yield quality and basic nutritive elements accumulation in Cauliflower, Varying doses of nitrogen were conbined with constant P O and K O doses of 100 kg/ha each. In experiment were included two cauliflower varities Snowball and Imperial. The fallowing quality parameters were studied: dry matter proteins, vitamin C, nitrates (NO ), nitrites (NO ) and N,P, K,Ca,Mg and Fe accumulation in all above ground parts. Yield of cauliflower was raised at increasing of nitrogen from 0-200 kg/ha and quality was not significantly changed except vitamin C which was increased with increasing nitrogen quantity. The basic nutrient elements accumulation was increased with increasing yield of above groung parts of plants.
