Studies on dissolving pulp from jute cutting by alkaline nitrobenzene process [in Bangladesh]
1991
Haque, M.M. | Islam, M.A.
The dissolving pulp from jute cutting has been obtained by subjecting the unbleached pulp to five staged bleaching sequences and cold alkali extraction. The pulp has high alpha cellulose content. Chemical analyses show that this pulp is equivalent to standard dissolving wood pulp used in the manufacture of rayon and cellulose derivatives.
