Systematic study of molluscan fauna of Layari river, mesogastropoda (Suborder taenioglossa) [Pakistan]

This is the part II of the taxonomic study of molluscan fauna of Layari River. Part I included the systematic accounts of the order Archaeogastropoda. The mesogastropods of this river belong to two suborders i.e. Taenioglossa and Aglossa. The present paper deals only with the synoptic study of the Taenioglossate mesogastropods which belong to six species of five genera and five families. Among them, three species are new records for Pakistan.
