Biology of Pulvinaria floccifera (Westwood) (Coccidae:coccoidea) [of Bangladesh]

The adult females of Pulvinaria floccifera (Westwood) were collected from several areas of Chittagong district and reared on guava plant (Psidium guajava L.) in the laboratory during February-May, 1983. The present paper describes the salient features and durations of various life stages of P. floccifera. A short note on its fecundity and natural enemies are also included.
