In this study monitoring of existing management practices in some commercial and backyard poultry raising units of Bangladesh and influence in respect of such practices on coccidiosis was carried out during the period from July, '88 to June, 90. Evaluation and experimental modification of such management practices were tested under different experiments in order to determine possibility of reducing exposures to source of infection, early recognition of disease and effect of resuming immediate treatment on the face of outbreaks. Management factors primarily contributing to coccidiosis under commercial and backyard poultry raising units were identified and suggestions for their improvement were made in the discussion.
