Investigation of infertility in cows by endocrine provocation tests at the Bangladesh Agricultural University dairy farm

Reproductive performances were studied from the records of the 47 cows of different breeds. About 29.41% heifers came into first oestrus at the age of 4 years, whereas 7.83% 19.16%, 17.67%, 25.49% heifers started their sexual cycle at the age of 3,5,6 and 6 years respectively. All heifers were found to be acyclic at the age of 2 years but 92.16%, 72.55%, 43.14% and 25.49% were acyclic at the age of 2,3,4,5 and 6 years respectively.
