Utilization of agricultural wastes in Pleurotus culture

Various agricultural wastes were tested. LSD-test revealed that yield of Pleurotus mushrooms grown on corn stalks and sugar cane leaves did not differ significantly from the yield of those grown on rice straw. Therefore, mushroom farmers can utilize these abundant agricultural wastes in Central Visayas [Philippines]
