Use of legume cereal silage as a roughage feed for calves

An experiment on calves given a legume-corn silage from 3 weeks up to 3 months of life was carried out. Lower weight gain and feed intake in calves fed the diet containing legume-corn silage than in those fed the diet containing a meadow hay was stated. No difference in nutrient digestibility of the examined diets was observed
