Estimation of interdependence between nervous sedateness and racing performance of purebred Arabian horses
1990
Chmiel, K.
209 mares and 16 stallions were exposed to the tests of their nervous excitability, memory, movements and every-day behaviour. There were conducted the following tests: of timidity, of sensivity to sounds, of memory in the labyrinth, of movements and the estimation made by the stallmaster. The results of experiments were compared with the race records, inbreeding rates and ancestry of the tested horses, using such statistical methods, as analysis of variance and estimation of correlation coefficients
