Growth of golden timothy grass (Setaria sphacelata) as affected by various levels of nitrogen from carabao manure

Golden timothy grass applied with 800 kg N/ha using carabao manure as source gave the highest yield 30 days after planting and 15 days after the regrowth. The same is true for all other parameters like plant height, carrying capacity, number of tillers, soilage, and dry matter yield. However, statistical test revealed that the application of 400 kg N/ha was not significantly different from those applied by 600 kg N/ha and 800 kg N/ha, hence the application of 400 kg/ha in eight Setaria pasture is recommended.
