Some preliminary observations on mineral and vitamin feeding of Merino ewes in their mating time

Investigations on Merino ewes from the end of May till the half of July were carried out. The content of calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, molybdenum, phosphorus, potassium, selenium and sodium as well as vitamin A and vitamin E in feeds offered to ewes was estimated. The sufficient content of macro- and microelements in tested fodder was stated. The content of vitamin A and E exceeded of ewe requirements
