In 1985-87 four native cultivars of sugar beet and one line C 17 from USA selected for tolerance to BYV were tested for resistance against Myzus persicae and Aphis fabae. Investigations showed, that development on plants of Annomono variety was the slowest with lowest number of aphids. On the other cultivars no differences were found
