Influence of slurry on some physical and chemical properties of soil and its productivity

Multiannual, 12 year lasted trials with slurry application were used to test the habitat changes of this treatment. Cattle and pig slurry rates equalized 100 percent and 200 percent of nitrogen rate applied under crops in mineral fertilizers. Slurry fertilization increased available P and K content in soil. Micronutrients contents were not affected. Effect of slurry on physical properties of soil was positive. Water retention properties of soil especially sandy one were increased. In rye and barley grain nitrogen content was increased. Micronutrients content in grain was increased. However yield levels were lowered
