Influence of the stage of ripeness of four cultivars zucchini on the yield and biological value

During the years 1985-87 yielding and fruit quality (at three stages of ripeness) of three Polish varieties of zucchini Astra, Pas, Ciemnozielona and standard var. Storrs Green F1 were estimated. Storrs Green F1 came out as the best, two Astra and Pas are worth on interest. High yield of fruit was obtained when fruit was picked 25-30 cm long, but younger fruit 10-15 cm has higher content of dry matter and vitamin C
