This book contains the proceedings of the workshop "Seed Production in the Arabian Peninsula" held in Sana'a, YAR from 16 to 18 Mar 1988 and a selection of papers presented during the General Seed Production Course held on 19-31 Mar 1988. The papers present the seed programs of the participating countries and the seed activities of the international organizations including the European Communities, FAO, UNDP, ICARDA, CIMMYT, ACSAd, and GTZO. The papers also form the basis for discussion on cooperation between the seed programs of the Arabian Peninsula countries and review the constraints to the further development of the Yemen Arab Republic's seed program. Appropriate recommendations drawn-up for future cooperation and for YAR's seed program are provided
