Results of important technological and qualitative characteristics of buckwheat
1989
Bogdanovic, M. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Sarajevo (Yugoslavia))
On the basis of the investigations of buckwheat grain it could be concluded as follows: Grain fraction structure of total yield depended mainly on genotype, then on environmental conditions and plant stand density. -Of the total variability of the core content in the grain, it is mainly influenced by genetic variability, i.e. genetic differences between varieties (33,89%), then by the year (23,26%) and genotype/year interaction (10,72%). -Weight of 100 grains and volume weight are also influenced primarily by the genotype. The tetraploid varieties have higher 1000 grain weight and smaller volume weight as compared with the diploid ones. -The content of proteins, fat and cellulose in buckwheat grain is a varietal character as well.
