Effect of azolla on the yield of BR3 rice [in Bangladesh]

The effect of Azolla manuring with or without urea-N on the yield of BR3 boro rice was tested at BAU farm and in a farmer's field at Kishoregonj. There were five treatments viz. control; Azolla; Azolla 20 kg N/ha; Azolla+kg N/ha could be saved where Azolla manuring was practiced compared to the yield of 80 kg N/ha application.
