Investigated have been some forms of mobile Fe, Al and Mn compounds in leached cinnamonic forest soils developed on quaternary deposits from Sandanski-and-Skiavski region in Bulgaria, and soils from the region of the town of Affrin in Syria. The research is aimed at finding the intensity of formation and migration of the above-mentioned mobile compounds, as well as the carbonate effect on them. The research results show the regularities cited below. The higher content of amorphous Al compounds in spils investigated from Syria as compared to those from Bulgaria, show a more advanced stage of soil-formation processes taking place in the former. The carbonate availability has effect on Fe, Al and Mn content and their distribution along the profile depth.
