Influence of electromagnetic treatments on the inoculation effect of wheat with bacteria of Azospirillum

By means of a pot experiment with leached smolnitza from Kostinbrod (near Sofia) the effect of the inoculation of wheat (cv Sadovo-1) with two active Azospirillum strains previosly treated with triple laser (1,2 and 3) and twice gamma irradiation was studied. Significant increase of the weight and N-content in the root biomass was established. The optimal combination of the two factors (electromagnetic treatments and inoculation with associative nitrogen fixing bacteria) can be used for increasing the yields of wheat and obtaining an ecologically clean production.
