[Evaluation of an experimental diet for angora rabbit using galega hay (Galega officinalis L.)]

It was measured in two successive production periods (150 days) consumption of food, production of hair (first category and whole hair) and conversion food hair in two groups of 32 Angora rabbits, both sexes, fed with (Galega officinalis) and it was compared to a similar food based on alfalfa. The results confirm the insensibility of the species to the toxic principles of Galega. The consumption of food was greater by the experimental animals (P0.01) and the production of first category hair and whole hair did not show significant statistical difference (P0.05). The results of conversion showed a highly significant difference (P0.01) under cover control (animals) rabbits
