The Slovak Committee for the Environment initiated the programme " Academy of Ecology". Its main objective is the production of knowledge databases concerning all aspects of the environment, which will be applied into practice by means of managing activities of the Committee in the field of science, research and education, and in creating the interdisciplinary and special knowledge database concerning the environment.
