A methodology to code and store soil survey data and soil maps is presented with the possibility of automatic printing a whole series of monothematic and polythematic maps. The system has developed in a 640K P/C. Both RASTER and VECTOR method developed and compared and both found adequate. Some monothematic and polythematic maps are presented with both methods. The system has been investigated for its possibilities for constructing and printing land evaluation maps and carring out geostatistical analyses of stored soil data.
