Replacing of yellow corn by barley or a mixture of barley and wheat in broiler diet

A total of (1050) day-old broiler chicks were fed seven experimental diets for seven weeks to evaluate replacing yellow corn (C) partially by barley (B) or completely by barely and wheat (W). Diets varied in grain components which present (64%) and (68%) in starting and growing diet respectively and the composition of grain parts were used as follows: (1) 100%C as a sole grain (control); (2) 50%C + 50% B; (3) 50%B + 50%w; (4) as in (3) + 3% corn oil; (5) 25%C t 75%B; (6) 75%B + 25%w and (7) as in (6) + 3% corn oil.
