This research was an attempt to study the effect of gamma rays on pathogenicity of the protoscolices of Echinococcus granulosis in mice, thus 167 male mice from genus Mus musculus were employed and divided into four major groups, the first and third group were exposed to gamma rays, and the histopathological, haematological and histochemical changes before and after irradiation were studied
