In Kenya, boron deficiency has been viewed as a likely constraint to the achievement of more economic coffee yield in Bungoma, Trans-nzoia and West Pokot districts. A survey was carried out with the objective of finding out the areas suffering from boron deficiency and the nature of its seasonal variation. Coffee leaf samples were taken from the areas mentioned above during two wet and two dry seasons and analyzed. Boron deficiency was found to be more in West Pokot than in the other districts during the wet periods but was more pronounced during the dry periods
