Studies were carried out to examine maize phenology as influenced by germplasm and temperature. Eight maize cultivars were selected to represent a range of maturity groups such as dryland composite, Katumani, Machakos White, Coast composite, etc. The number of days from emergence to tasselling and grain maturity for the eight cultivars in the different environments are given and results discussed
