Genetic and phenotypic relationships between the udder morphology and milking ability

Studies on 836 purebred Black-and-White cows during the first three lactations were carried out. The significant increase in udder volume especially in the udder depth between the first and third lactation was stated. No significant genetic correlation between milking ability and udder morphology in cows was observed
