In two experiments carried out on growing geese of Italian White breed, 5-11 weeks old birds were fed a diet containing of high crude fibre level. No effect of high amount of crude fibre in diet on triglicerides and protein content in blood serum as well as on enzymic activity of pancreas was stated. The high level of pectin and lignin in diet caused a destructive changes in intenstine and liver of growing geese
