Effect of component level and preservation methods on nutritive value of red clover and meadow fescue forage mixture

The nutritive value of forage mixture containing a red clover and meadow fescue in ratio 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 was determined. The silage and hay was evaluated. The nutritive value but not digestibility of forage was affected by forage mixture composition. The higher energetic value and lower protein content in hay than in silage was stated
