An experiment on pigs fed a diet containing barley meal and fish meal with 0, 5 or 10 percent of cellulose was carried out. The higher dry matter content as well as concentration of acetic acid and a decrease of pH value in digest of pig given the cellulose in diet than in control ones was stated
