Contents of vitamins A and E in vitaminized vegetable fats

Irregularity observed in the course of vitaminization of margarines indicates the need to investigate the vitamins contents in vegetable fats. The content of vitamins A and E was determined in five kinds of margarines. The analytical investigations showed that the vitamin A content was not adequate to the fixed amount which was about 15 percent; whereas vitamin E content was proved to be in accordance with the formula which defines the kind of oil to be used for production of particular sorts of margarine
