Effect of grass-alfalfa meal level in diet on fattening and slaughter performance in pigs

An experiment on weaned piglets fed a diet containing 0-20 percent of green meal was carried out. A negative correlation between diet green meal content and weight gain, feed conversion efficiency and protein digestibility and positive correlation with feed intake in pigs was stated. The level green meal at 5-10 percent of diet is recommended in pig feeding
