Comparison of calculation methods of water distribution at the water center

Present knowledge of the problem of water distribution at the water center does not allow correct calculation of the amount of water uptake from the river through the irrigation canal. This was shown by comparing of 3 methods of calculation, according to Sokolow, Milowicz and on the basis of nomogram worked out at the Technical University of Warsaw. The differences in calculation, are more than ten times. According to author's opinion only the hydraulic model examination can give results near the natural conditions
